Lions, Tigers and Bears Oh My! Actually any animal will do, including insects. So pull out your die cuts, Cricuts, Silhouettes, etc. to join Cut It Up Challenge Blog in the next challenge.
The front of the 10x10 card, yes it's BIG! I think any little girl would enjoy a card this size to display long after the big day has passed.I have used The Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge. The border of circles is achieved with EK Success border punch. The glitter on the ladybug below is Stickles in Silver. A punch is used for the small silver hearts.
Join the Cut It Up Challenge Blog for more inspiration from the talented Design Team and for a chance to have your work recognized and win a great prize.

This challenge consist of using mist. Feel free to use any brand you have, Perfect pearls, Glimmer mist, Color Shine and more.
Lately I have been watching and exploring mixed media. I came across a very talented mixed media artist that I decided to scraplift one of her pieces. Like I said I'm learning so my design and the items I used are very similar to hers. I did substitute some products that I didn't own. I take no credit for this design at all and only appreciate that she is one of the many that are willing to share her beautiful work. Her name is Song Li and this is the link to her blog, http://creationbysong.blogspot.com/
You can view the video for this project here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Olw5Eos9td4
Products used:
9x12 Artist's Loft Canvas (Michael's)
Back pocket from my son's jeans
Flowers from Recollections (Michael's)
Misc. Chipboard stamped with 7 gypsies
Gelatos by Faber Castell: Mango, Bubble Gum, Margarita Mix
Paints by Martha Stewart Crafts: Pink Dahlia, Porcelain Doll and Sweet Potato
My Studio Acrylic Craft Paint in Mustard Yellow and Aqua
Stamps: Hero Arts "Dots" in black Ranger Archival Ink
Paper: Craft Smith, "Painted Posies Collection" and Prima Printery Collection
Stencils: Heidi Swapp Stencil Kit
Punches: Martha Stewart small butterfly
Ranger tag and Celebrate It Jute
Die Cuts: Making Memories Slice, an oldie but goodie. I haven't used this in quite some time. I used design card "Animal Crackers" for the beige butterfly and "Seasons" for the large pink butterfly.
Mist: Color Shine by Heidi Swapp in Teal, Citrus and White
Perfect Pearls in Silver (PPM28352)
One thing I enjoy about Mixed Media is that you get to pull out everything and use things you forgot you owned. I'm a hoarder and that is one of my goals is to use up a lot of my stash this year.
I enjoyed this project very much and I hope to share another one soon that will be an original.
Thank you Song Li for your tutorial and helping me break out of my comfort zone.
It's hard to photograph misting spray but trust me it's there, I even sprayed extra.
Head on over to Cut It Up Challenge Blog to show us your style and see what the rest of the design team came up with. Your work will be seen by many and there is always a wonderful prize for playing along.

Must use a die cut (electronic or manual) and the theme is Paper Piecing, layer a patterned paper on the stamp area somewhere.
Need a little inspiration? Head over to the Cut It Up blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with.
I made gumball mason jars for Teacher Appreciation Week. The tag is a Cricut die cut from Art Philosophy. I stamped a jar image onto patterned paper and cut it out and placed it on the tag with pop dots. I also stamped the flower image and cut it out as well.
This challenge starts May 1st and last til May 13th.

Exciting news, I'm back with the best Challenge Blog! CUT IT UP!
Challenge #69 is make a Funny Card. Funny, silly die cut or sentiment, whatever makes you laugh.
Be sure to check out what the talented team did on the Cut It Up Challenge Blog. Feel free to join in on the fun, your entry could win you a prize.
Here is my take on a getting old birthday card.
The base cream card is covered with Tim Holtz Ideaology tissue wrap-Melange, then whitewashed and splattered with black ink. The Cricut cuts are from cartridges Life is a Party.
Beware is attached to a strip of paper from the Prima Printery collection, distressed, inked and tails cut at the ends.
The buzzard's head is adhered with dimensional tape and I used a Kaisercraft rhinestone for the wart on it's beak.
The inside greeting.
This challenge is sponsored by Cute as a Button. Head over to the site to get all the info and show us your talent!
