I made a basket to hold some sweet treats. This is a very easy basket to make. You only need one sheet of cardstock and 2-4 sheets of coordinating patterned paper, I used 3 designs. Take your 12x12 cardstock and score at 4 and 8 inches, turn 90 degrees and repeat. Your sheet now have 9 four inch scored squares. Score your four corners diagonally. Cut your patterned paper at 3 3/4 inches. Your patterned papers that you choose to go on the corners will need to be cut diagonally as well. Use a hole punch or Crop-a-dile to punch holes at the fold and thread coordinating ribbon through, fill with treats and enjoy. I made my label with Tim Holtz Styled Labels die. They are both the same size, the blue label is cut in half and placed slightly unaligned for a border/shadow effect.
Be sure to stop by the Cut It Up site to show some love to the rest of the team.
